GruntvillE met Eminent on Crash last night for a battle where the winner will get to challenge for 1st place in the Domination Ladder. Our last encounter left GruntvillE wanting but this time around, we were prepared. Hobbes was unstoppable and managed to rack up 104 kills during the match. He definitely gets MVP for the match. Congrats to =GvL= for another well played match this weekend. Also, good luck to Eminent on their next match. We have no doubt we will see you again.

04/21/2008GruntvillE GamerZ Takes 1st Place

GruntvillE GamerZ took the battlefield against MOB for No. 1 in the TeamWarFare Hardcore 6v6 Team Deathmatch ladder on Saturday night. The maps were Crash and Backlot. The last time we met, MoB took the win but we were practicing for the SnD playoffs at the time. This time around we had time to concentrate and took the win by 190 pts on Crash and by a large margin on Backlot. Good Games to MoB and I am sure we will see you again soon.

04/16/2008COD4 TWL Hardcore SnD Season 1 Playoff Results

Hats off to GruntvillE GamerZ for all the hard work they put in for the playoffs. We had a really weird post season. In week one, our opponents never showed. In week two we catch H2K cheating and had to basically defend our lives from the admin that handles the league. This took most of the week we had to prep for the next week but we gave it our all. The first map did not go so well for us with a score of 11-5 but the second map, we held our own and lost in overtime. It was a valiant effort and I for one am proud of the whole team. We did not ladder in SnD and never scrimmed for it until the playoffs. For a season that was played out in that matter, it is a wonder we even made it to the playoffs.

When it comes to playoffs, we try to play our best, meaning not everyone gets to play, but many of you were there to help the team with scrims and practice and even sitting on the sidelines cheering on the team. This type of teamwork and support are what makes GruntvillE GamerZ the clan it is. Within a minute of losing the match, we were all patting each other on the back for a great season and trying to plan the next big LAN trip. I really am proud to be the founder of a team full of such great people. You guys are all #1 in my book.

01/27/2008GruntvillE Takes their First Win in COD4

We had our first Ladder match tonight in the 6v6 DOM Hardcore ladder and destroyed a team called RPI. It was 530 to 125 at half and double that at the end of the match. They of course disputed saying our server was to blame for their loss but it has already been declined and they have 24hrs to report their loss. I wouild say gg but they were really rude and made us wait 30 min to start and we had to get an admin to come in at half to get them to ready up. gg RPI, hope you treat future teams with a little more respect.

04/17/2007GruntvillE GamerZ Holds 1st Place 6 weeks and Counting

After staking claim to the #1 spot in the 4v4 Rifles Only S'D Ladder at TWL on March 8th, GruntvillE continues the saga. OwN took their shot last night on Matmata and managed to get 5 rounds in before GruntvillE hit the 11.

Xenoc1de (ded1conex), Soze (Dr. Rape), Hobbes and Mercy lead the team to victory.

In a conflict of events, the team also had a 4v4 ctf match scheduled close to the same time. GruntvillE took eZealous to the railyard and left them beaten and battered. GruntvillE took the win 16-9. The team has been in a holding pattern in the ctf ladder. We can not seem to get some challenges made. We have a 2-1 positive record and have been pushed back to 26th place.

GruntmaN, D3t0x, Harrier and Heathen lead the team to another CTF victory. This was Heathens first match with the team and he woke up on the second half. Congrats on a job well done. We had some issues in the first half, GruntmaN locked up and was gone for 4 minutes. EZC managed to get 3 caps in while he was out but it was not enough to help.
